To enhance our research and development capabilities, Nuvoton actively engages in industry-academic collaborations to advance innovative technologies. By integrating academic research with practical industrial applications, Nuvoton seeks to expedite the deepening and utilization of critical technologies. These collaborations are also instrumental in fostering the sustainable development of the semiconductor industry while furthering the goals of talent cultivation and technology transfer.

National Taiwan University
  • Engages Professor Tai-Cheng Li from the Advanced Technology Development Center for periodic collaboration to conduct training courses focused on analog circuits
  • Initiates industry-academic partnership projects with an emphasis on "low-power and nextgeneration circuit technologies," continuously striving to enhance power consumption performance and reduce chip area without compromising chip performance
National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University
Provides assistance in the execution of TCAD simulations, which serve not only to validate feasibility but also to deepen comprehension of the theoretical frameworks underlying performance strengths and weaknesses, ultimately enhancing product performance
National Cheng Kung University
  • Collaborates with National Cheng Kung University in appointing Professor Chia-Hui Yang as a Nuvoton Chair Professor, who conducts periodic seminars to impart knowledge on semiconductor technologies
  • Engages in the Taiwan Chip-based Industrial Innovation Program with National Cheng Kung University, aimed at establishing a highly scalable and sustainable artificial intelligence integration engine, ensuring a comprehensive development process and environment that incorporates both existing and emerging AI applications
Kyoto Institute of Technology, Osaka Prefecture University and Osaka University
Partnering with these three institutions, Nuvoton provides a semiconductor vocational education program designed to bolster the influence of the semiconductor industry and to stimulate interest in this sector among students. In 2025, the program is structured into two sessions, accommodating a total of 183 participants
Nagasaki Institute of Applied Science
Collaborates with Nagasaki Institute of Applied Science to establish an industry-academic collaborative research seminar, recognized as the world's first research and educational center specializing in power electronics control. This partnership seeks to address energy challenges through advanced research focused on control technologies within the power electronics sector, thereby contributing to the achievement of high energy efficiency and a carbonneutral society
